Outtakes from Flare magazine!

I’ve added to our photo gallery new photoshoot taken by Max Abadian for June issue of Canadian fashion magazine – Flare. In an exclusive interview, Jennifer Lawrence spoke about her journey from schoolyard action hero to Hunger Games heroine, the success of Winter?s Bone, being a wild child and many more. Flare?s complete profile of Jennifer Lawrence will be on newsstands May 16, so we have to wait for more until Monday.

On being a wild child: ?My mom [says]? ?Jenn wasn?t allowed to play with the girls at recess. She had to play with the boys because she?s too rough.??

On her athletic build: ?I?d rather look a little chubby on camera and look like a person in real life, than to look great onscreen and look like a scarecrow in real life.?

On Oscar parties: ?I went to the Vanity Fair [Oscar] party for a cool 15 minutes. And then I took off. I?m like a little old lady. I?m always tired around midnight?I mean it was cool to see Elton John, and I met Billy Crystal, which was amazing, but yeah, I?m mostly just kind of uncomfortable.?

On throwing divided diet plans: ?I don?t unequivocally diet or anything. I?m miserable when I?m dieting as well as you similar to a approach you look. I?m unequivocally ill of all these actresses seeking similar to birds.?

On her initial awards show: ?My initial large awards uncover was a Marcello Mastroianni Awards in Venice, Italy. That was so fun, since my family as well as I, during a time, had never been to Europe. And so you went for dual weeks prior to as well as trafficked around.?

Scans and interview from ASOS Magazine.

Hello, I’ve added to the photo gallery high quality scans from June issue of ASOS Magazine! Photographs were taken by Benny Horne and, as far as I’m concerned, this is one of my favourite shoots of her. In the interview Jennifer talks about being overwhelmed by her near-overnight fame and why she never thought anyone would see Winter’s Bone, the film that scored her an Oscar nomination. She also mentions about her relationship with fellow actor Nicholas Hoult and reveals that she continues to get some of her biggest kicks from joking around with her brothers.

On getting used to fame: “It doesn’t actually feel like my life has changed that much. Although that’s not a good thing. I need to realize that people are listening and writing down what I’m saying. It’s a weird thing to get used to. This is exactly what I always wanted, and it’s here and I’m 20. I don’t think that I could see this coming in my wildest dreams, but you don’t expect your wildest dreams to come true. It’s kind of hard to process all of that. If I don’t sound incredibly grateful, I think I’m just overwhelmed.”

On Winter’s Bone’s surprising success: “The fact that the movie people know me for is Winter’s Bone, that tiny little movie I fell in love with and would have done anything for… I still pinch myself about it. I remember thinking, ‘This movie is going to be so beautiful, it’s a shame nobody’s going to see it.’ Fortunately that came back and smacked me in the face.”

On what makes her smile: “Typos. My brothers and I have this rule that we can’t correct our autocorrect on text messages. So for ‘Merry Christmas,’ I still have one that says ‘Merry Mumboree.'”

On boyfriend Nicholas Hoult: “People know, but we don’t want to talk about it. It’s one thing when pictures are out there, but as soon as we start talking about it, then it means everyone else can talk about it, so we don’t.”

First Clip From X-Men: First Class – “Magic Trick”.

Yahoo! Movies premieres the first clip from the Matthew Vaughn-directed X-Men: First Class, featuring Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Raven Darkholme (Jennifer Lawrence) demonstrating their mutant abilities for disbelieving officials at CIA Headquarters. The scene also includes Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggart and Oliver Platt as the Man in Black.

Plot: X-Men: First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to prevent nuclear Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto?s Brotherhood and Professor X?s X-Men.

Source: Yahoo! Movies. / I haven’t seen this yet, because I decided not to watch any of sneak peaks before June 3. :( But I’m sure that the clip is impressive, so I encourage all these people who aren’t afraid of spoilers to watch it.
