Who? The breakout star of 2010, Lawrence received a Best Actress Oscar nom for gritty indie drama Winter’s Bone.
Why So Hot? Lawrence won numerous awards for her performance in Winter’s Bone, and swiped most of the season’s Best Breakthrough Artist gongs.
Cast in the lead role of O in Oliver Stone’s Savages, Lawrence dropped out when she snagged the role of Katniss in the highly anticipated adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ teen-lit series The Hunger Games. Recent rumours suggest she’s been cast in David O. Russell’s The Silver Linings Playbook.
What?s Next? Lawrence is on the big screen right now as Mystique in X-Men: First Class, but she won?t be seen again until March 2012 when The Hunger Games is released in the UK.
