Jennifer is Pregnant!
Jennifer Lawrence is about to become a mom for the first time … she’s expecting a baby with husband Cooke Maroney.
A rep for the actress tells TMZ the actress is pregnant, though it’s currently unclear when she’s due or if she’s going to have a boy or girl. The 31-year-old and her art dealer husband Cooke Maroney have been spotted around NYC in recent weeks sparking pregnancy rumors.
Jennifer and Cooke got hitched in October 2019 in Rhode Island in a fairly small ceremony … celeb guests reportedly included Kris Jenner, Emma Stone, Adele and Amy Schumer.
Lawrence is set to star in the highly-anticipated “Don’t Look Up” with Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep and Timothee Chalamet, expected to be released later this year. TMZ broke the story, Jennifer suffered an injury to her eye when it was cut by glass on set of the film earlier this year … but made a full recovery.
Baby Maroney will be the first child for both Jennifer and 37-year-old Maroney.

Jennifer Lawrence is engaged to Cooke Maroney
Congratulations are in order for Jennifer Lawrence. On Tuesday evening, it was revealed that the 28-year-old Oscar winner is engaged to art dealer Cooke Maroney. Speculation of the engagement sparked on Tuesday afternoon, after sources revealed to Page Six that the pair had been spotted at Raoul’s in New York City, where the actress was flashing her new engagement ring and seemed to be celebrating good news.
“It was a giant rock. They seemed like they were celebrating and people were talking about it. The ring was very noticeable. They were sitting back in a corner. She was wearing a cute black dress with white polka dots,” the source reported to Page Six.
Later in the day, Lawrence’s reps confirmed to E! News that the actress was indeed engaged Lawrence and Maroney, 34, were first spotted together in June 2018, after reportedly being introduced by the actress’s best friend Laura Simpson. Since then, the couple have been spotted on several romantic dates in New York, thought they have yet to make a public appearance together.

“It’s certainly not a darling. It never crossed our mind that everyone was going to love it,” Jennifer Lawrence said at The Contenders today of mother!, Darren Aronofsky’s polarizing Paramount picture in which she stars opposite Javier Bardem. “It’s an assault, but I think it’s necessary. I’m proud of us, and I’m proud of Darren for writing and conceiving it.”
Lawrence stars in the film as a woman known only as “Mother,” who finds herself at the hands of a mysterious and increasingly disturbing home invasion. Lawrence knew, taking on the project, that it would be a challenge — but one that she was ready to confront. “It was something I’d never done before,” the Oscar winner said. “It’s what I wanted from working with Darren, to be challenged in different ways. Everything about him is unique, and all the movies he’s made are unique.”
Lawrence’s preparations for the project involved “a three-week rehearsal period in Brooklyn,” though the actress said she found her character just before beginning production. And while the experience of the film is a daunting one, Lawrence said she had to keep herself in a good mental place to consider the endeavor worth the effort. “I had to find a place of staying mentally healthy with this bizarre job in all sorts of ways, and if I had to be sad all day, or feel intense emotional pain all day, I wouldn’t do this,” she said. “I’ve never lost myself [in a character] before this movie. I couldn’t get my brain in order.”
